:: MEMBARTSHO / BURNING LAKE
The lake is named so after Terton (treasure discoverer) Pema Lingpa went into the lake with a butter lamp and came back with the butter lamp still burning while he discovered Guru Rimpoche's hidden treasures
Membartsho, the burning lake lies about 5 minutes walk from the road

After crossing Membartsho we reach Tang valley
Going up and up
:: URA
From Sheytang La we slowly descend down into URA valley. People in URA mostly live out of potato farming, mushroom business and dairy farming. They also have a annual festival. Once we leave URA valley we are riding towards the second highest point of our 5 day journey
But before we stay overnight in URA and you heat your room with wood by yourself
